Spoon Shrine 🔥

Take a spoon from your kitchen and give it the fan page it deserves — a 1997-style fansite (think GeoCities: bright backgrounds, sparkly titles, hit counters, webrings, guestbooks). Build it or draw it. About an hour.

Every challenge has its own word — it's your entry signature, so the piece is clearly made fresh for this one. This challenge's word is SHRINE.

Steps

1. Photograph your spoon — prop a small handwritten note with the word SHRINE next to it in the frame.
2. Make the fansite. Either works:
   • build it in a simple HTML editor, or
   • draw the whole page by hand — layout, borders, everything.
3. Pack in the period details: a big sparkly title, at least 5 hand-made decorations (tiles, dividers, star bullets, "under construction" signs), a visitor hit counter (odometer-style numbers), a webring link (a badge to sister sites), a guestbook link ("sign my guestbook!").
4. Capture the final page — screenshot if you built it, photograph if you drew it.

What to Submit

Three images: the spoon photo (with the SHRINE note), the final page, and one close-up of your favorite decoration.
